The Inter-University Cloud Forum held its third meeting on Monday June 25, 2018 at IUCC’s offices in Tel Aviv. Representatives from four universities took part in the lively discussions on the contract between IUCC and a reseller of Azure, AWS and GCP. The agreement covers purchase discounts on Azure IaaS and PaaS services, consumption reports using CloudHealth and a bank of consulting hours for the benefit of the universities. Other topics included a review of the successful AWSome days series that took place in May and June and the universities’ challenges promoting cloud services.
Avishay Balter, an Azure Technical Solutions Professional from Microsoft, presented highlights from the recent Microsoft Build 2018 conference.
